The Living Testament Initiative

Living Testament Initiative is about giving life to people beyond words. It was born from James 1:27 – Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress.

Living Testament Initiative was born out of Queen Talatu Dickson’s passion for helping people who cannot help themselves, being a helping hand and voice to the voiceless. Having being an indigent as a child, she is very concerned about indigent people, and we launched shortly after we got married, in 2007.

Living Testament Initiative helps young people with basic needs of life like school fees and accommodation challenges. And so far, we have had the honor of addressing the education needs of students at secondary school and higher institution levels respectively. Among many other things, we also show care to sexually abused girls and boys in the society.

We believe that true religion is about helping people who are vulnerable.

In addition, Living Testament Initiative serves as bridge for serving humanity. We reach out to friends and partners to raise funds for small business startups for vulnerable members of our society, feed them and help their familles lead happier lives.

We have multi-level partnerships, both financial and for skills, enabling us to provide cross-cutting and sustainable help to indigent people in the society who need help for survival and sustainability.
